The very first atelier of Weaving Futures was focussed on film and photography. The exchanges during this workshop sparked the idea for Fadi Chéquryah and Nael Nassan to keep filming, and to hold the energy and exchanges in moving image. Perhaps an almost impossible task, as the real value of what happened exists outside the visual. It’s in the friendships that were build, the conversations that resonated, the skills that were shared, the joy of dancing, or the hope that we felt in a future that we can build together. They are part of a mountain of small things, and perhaps this film can be seen as a compass to climb that mountain.
