Yusra Amounah
Yusra Amounah is social catalyser bridging worlds through cultural encounters. She is the co-founder and director of Douri, a platform to interconnect artists, researchers, social workers and activists in the astonishing social mosaic of Luxembourgian and European communities. They are a non-profit organization, based in Luxembourg. Building spaces for artistic and sociocultural projects, they help with the integration of groups and individuals in their communities.
Their mission includes raising awareness about emerging ecological and environmental issues in our modern world. Luxembourg is their starting point to implement projects through visual art, social theatre, music, performances, workshops, books, qualitative researche, conferences and many other tools. All to erase social differences and spot on the essence of being human in a changing world.
Together with Annelys de Vet she developed the concept of ‘Weaving Futures’, and coordinated each atelier with a sparkling spirit.
